Looks like Google will be jumping into LTE in 2012 with more than just the Galaxy Nexus. Sprint’s official blog announcement from a couple of weeks ago indicates that they will go to launch with the Galaxy Nexus, LG Viper, and the Sierra Hotspot device.
A point of interest regarding the LG Viper is that it is running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), and not Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Long story short, if you are going to be one of the early LTE adopters for Sprint (their network is set to launch in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio), you have Android choices a plenty.
UPDATE: Numerous sources are now reporting that the Galaxy Nexus will be launching on Sprint April 15th, 2012.
