Verizon has removed the images, so likely not be a Verizon Exclusive.
Galaxy Nexus
One of the most highly anticipated smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus dubbed as the iPhone Killer it features as 4.65 inch Super AMOLED screen including 1GB of ram, 16 or 32GB of memory as well as the highly talked about, Android Ice Cream Sandwich. But the real question is… will the Galaxy Nexus be a Verizon exclusive? recent website updates have shown Verizon now offers users to enter their email and “be one of the first to get the Galaxy Nexus by Samsung on Verizon.”
Galaxy Nexus Verizon Exclusive?
Though this part of the site doesn’t mention anything about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus being a Verizon exclusive, further digging and searching for the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon’s website shows a very intriguing banner, the image (above) states the phone as being “Exclusive from Verizon”. Though rumors suggest otherwise will you still buy the Samsung Galaxy Nexus if it is a Verizon Exclusive?

That banner has since been removed… so it most likely was never exclusive.
I call B.S. Just did the same search. The banner does not have the “Exclusive” containing text.
JS is right, the banner now has been removed which means its most likely not a Verizon exclusive.
No, I will not buy any device apart from the now network. (Unless of course I can flash or Odin it to sprint
)
The GSM HSPA version is a World phone w/ penta bands, so i expect Google to let this Monster Device loose to as many Networks world wide as possible. All the exclusive talk will just handcuff the potential sales of this device. Apple is moving away from the Exclusive sales model for a reason…the goal is to sell as many devices as possible…sell baby sell = $$$$$$$$.
NO!
I’ll never sign up with Verizon, but I do like this phone. It will be a terrible dissapointment if it is a Verizon exclusive.

Certainly hoping it’s NOT a Verizon exclusive. I’m with Sprint and I would definitely buy the Galaxy Nexus if it’s offered by Sprint since I will definitely not sign up with Verizon..no matter how badly I want a phone!
No way I am signing up for verizon! I want this phone so bad! SO hoping its available for AT&T!!
The “iPhone killer” label has gotten quite old and over-used, every time a new droid, or windows 7 phone, or anything other than iPhone shows promise, it’s labeled the “iPhone killer”. Get over it!!! This phone, without a doubt, does look amazing, but can we please just drop the “iPhone killer” label. There’s been dozens of “iPhone killers” over the years and that just hasn’t happened.
First of all I don’t think that many iPhone owners are all of a sudden going to return their iPhones for one of these no matter how powerful or capable it may be. Then you have to consider too that there’s too much competition from other Android phones for any one phone to be an “iPhone killer”. The Android platform as a whole has done quite well against the iPhone, so I think it’s time for Droid makers to look ahead and not behind.
Why can’t we just appreciate a good Android phone for what it is without comparing to something else? In my opinion the “iPhone killer” labels just sullies what otherwise looks like a great phone and a worthy competitor to any other phone in the market today.
