The Great White North continues to see carriers offering the Galaxy Nexus, as WIND Mobile joins the ranks of Rogers, Bell, and Telus. The Canadian carrier will also offer the 16GB variant, though no launch date or price point is currently listed on the Wind Galaxy Nexus landing page (http://shop.windmobile.ca/ProductCatalog/Handsets/HandsetDetails.aspx?id=Galaxy+Nexus(WINDCA)&color=orange).
Wind has made it a point of offering a great selection of Android devices, from the HTC Amaze to the Huawei U8100. This will Wind’s first Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) supported device, and second phone from the Nexus line (the Nexus S is also available from Wind Mobile).
